This curtain is one of my favorites—soft and full of gentle charm. I’ve sewn it using a mix of mint green, white, beige and light blue floral cottons, mixed with gingham and delicate printed fabric. There’s a line of doily lace that runs through the panel, bringing in a quiet detail that feels lovingly placed. It lets the sun come through gently, keeping the room bright but offering just enough privacy to feel comfortable.

It has the kind of feel you’d expect from a cottage window—quiet, lived-in, and comforting. The colors and textures remind me of places where mornings are slow and the air smells like garden herbs.

Because I patch everything by hand, the fabric pieces may look a little different each time. And sometimes I need to adjust the lace depending on what’s available, but I always choose something lovely.
