This Vintage Farmhouse Lace Curtain would be perfect for decorating your windows if you’re looking to add some warmth and texture. Every piece of mine is handmade and this design in particular has my heart. It is fashioned as a valance so it’s perfect if you want to cover only the upper portion of a window, and it adds a soft, layered look that is vintage yet farmhouse stylish.

The upper portion is distinct because of the lace bands and different fabrics used to make the multi-layered header. Its patchwork horizontal and vertical panel design is relaxing and interesting to look at without being too much.

For this piece, I used different types of laces like openwork crochet laces and fine embroidered laces to add detail. During the day, the sheer base fabric allows soft light to shine through which highlights the lace beautifully. The piece is finished with gentle romantic touches because of the rough edges that adorn the bottom and top portions.

This piece’s overall palette is soft: creams, beiges, and warm browns which are easy to style and work best in farmhouse kitchens, cozy bedrooms, or vintage-inspired living areas. It can be hung on a standard rod, making installation simple and easy.
